Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

In 1981, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas made a movie together about an archaeologist who saves the earth from the Nazis, and the movie was called Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, and it left a beautiful memory of our youth.

Do you know this dialogue?

„Jock, start it up! Drop it!“

„Jock, the engine! Start it!“

„Here's the big snake, Jock!“

„Oh, that's my darling Reggie the jean.“

„I hate snakes, Jock. I hate them.“

„Oh, come on. You're some guy, aren't you?“

Do you know? Well of course you do, it's the movie Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, where Indiana flees from the Hovitta natives and from Beloq, who is his greatest adversary. And who got many of his archaeological discoveries from other people. Like the golden statue that Indiana is forced to hand over to him, even though during his mission there were many things that sought his life. Ejection spears, ejection darts, and a rolling big ball.

What do we know about Master Indiana Jones? Well he's an archaeologist with all his soul, he lectures at an American university and when he's not lecturing he's running around various counties and countries looking for archaeological treasures. And so after his one lecture where his students absolutely love him, for example one has LOVE YOU painted on her eyes, the Secret Service turns to him because they discover that there are Germans in Egypt and they are looking for the mythical Ark. That is, the Ark of the Covenant, which, as they say, is full of evil power and destroys everything around it with its powerful rays. So he is sent to first find a silver medallion with a crystal that will allow this Ark to be found. And so, while searching for the medallion, he meets his former love Marion, with whom he reconnects and has new adventures. Marion has the correct medallion opening.

Now it's up to the readers to decide if they really know the movie, but certainly the creative workshop of Lucas – Spielberg does not disappoint, serving us a comic book hero with a lasso, a hat, elegance, a scar on his chin and many more adventurous qualities such as love, heroism, near invulnerability, the ability to cope in all circumstances. Well, just one archaeologist who prevents the Nazis from gaining eternal glory and invincibility. As I'm sure you know, the Nazis were defeated in 1945, and so actually I. J. never allowed themselves to be defeated. Because if he hadn't gotten the ark, or destroyed the temple with the cup of Christ (see Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade), our country would not have been able to join the European Union, and at the very least the entire planet would have been under the domination of the Germans.

A little about the actors: Harrison Ford was already a well-known actor, yet he didn't have to play this role. The originally intended Tom Selleck was (unfortunately) busy filming the Magnum series, so H.F. got the role, a memorable one. And who else is known for this film but John Rhys-Davies…. Sallah, who plays a typical Arab. And what is this actor known for? Well, he's Gimli from Lord of the Rings.

It might also be noted that some shots from the film, refer to other movies, to Star Wars, to the names Obiwan ci C-3P0, which make up the name of the plane, or you can see paintings of R2-D2 and C-3PO.
