As a huge fan of the first Silent Hill, I was immediately taken with this game. If you like blurry pixel graphics and the dark atmosphere the game creates, it will definitely appeal to you! Plus, if you're a fan of Local 58 like me, you'll be excited about it.
Gameplay: the nostalgia of horror games from 2010
Gameplay-wise, it reminds me of horror games from 2010 like Slender and FNAF. Once you get used to the scares, it starts to feel like the frustration of Cat Mario. Up until the fourth level, the randomness (RNG) is fantastic! Just when you think you know what to expect, the game surprises you and you have to react quickly. And did I mention you have two enemies to watch out for? Now you know!"
Tension and constant threat: Where there is no escape
This game won't make you feel safe anywhere! This is a mechanic that will both entertain and stress you out as you go through the levels. This element appealed to me because it forces you to be constantly alert and react quickly.
Difficulty: Level 4 as a challenge
Like in many other games, prepare to die often. A lot! The only complaint I have with this game is that the difficulty increase on level four is very challenging. Progress in the previous levels was smooth, but the fourth level is particularly hard. I haven't conquered it yet, but I believe it's not impossible! I'll have to try it again and then I'll tell you how it turned out, as the game has two different endings.
Conclusion: great value for money
However, for less than 8 Euro, this is a great little horror game. Even though repetitive, it still offers fun and suspense without over the top scares. And if you're looking for a new game to stream or make videos, this is a great candidate.
