Life
Vasek Kršňák grew up in Teplice in the suburbs, where he faced a challenging environment. His father was a passionate cook, which inspired young Vasek to become interested in cooking at a young age. Even as a child, he was often in the kitchen and learning the basics of cooking.
A major life change came at age 14 when Kršňák's father died. The loss hit him deeply, but also motivated him to pursue a career in gastronomy. After consulting with his mother, he decided to go to culinary school.
Career
After graduating from high school, he got his first part-time job at a hotel in Sumava, where his interest in cooking turned into a professional passion. It was during this time that he realized that cooking was a path he wanted to pursue.
At the age of 19, after completing his further education, he decided to move to Prague and pursue his culinary career to the fullest. But the transition to the capital was not easy. Kršňák was going through a dark period and trying to cope with the loss of his father.
Psychological help
One of key moments in his life was the decision to seek psychological help. After conversations with friends and loved ones, he decided to consult a professional about his problems, which helped him find a psychological balance. Through this experience, Kršňák became more resilient and gained a new outlook on life.
Personal life
Kršňák places great emphasis on a healthy lifestyle that combines regular exercise with a balanced diet. He believes that balance is the key to satisfaction in both life and gastronomy.
Vasek Kršňák is also a father of two children - a daughter and son. His family is an important part of his life and motivation to constantly work on himself and his professional growth.
