The first episode of Season 30 brought us another routine. Aside from two new guest actors (Gal Gadot and Emily Deschanel), there's not much to go on.
The story is very simple, Bart meets the challenge of the gang around Nelson and almost gets killed, luckily he recovers quickly and thanks to Homer, he makes up a story about experiencing his own death, meeting Jesse and other famous people.
I don't know what will follow for the next episodes, but The Simpsons is getting weaker and weaker in its latest (so far announced) season, with jokes and innuendos becoming scarce, and so the only thing I laughed at was a brief cameo by the famous actresses who auditioned for the roles of Marge and Liza for the upcoming movie based on Bart's story.
- Gal Gadot as Lisa.
- That role is yours!
- Wait, wait, wait.
- I know you were great in The Fast and the Furious, but what else have you been in?
- Have you seen Wonder Woman?
- As soon as I see the DC logo,I fall asleep.
- As Marge… Emily Deschanel.
- Hm, yeah. Uh,I have a question first.
- Have you ever had bones with meat in the Bone Collectors
- and if so,where are they now?
- Maybe she should start reading this.
- Homie, with everything that's going on right now.
- I think we should take a break.
- No! Marge, no!
- Pause means forever.
- I'm gonna change. Seriously.
- Homer, he's just playing his part.
- Oh, yeah, yeah.
- Could you hold your hand up when you play so I can tell?
