Terminator on Blu-ray

Maybe a few dozen in the Czechoslovakia saw the film in 1984, but I personally didn't get a chance to see a cult film by one of the most skilled directors until the 1990s. And it wasn't until its second run in cinemas.

The film itself made a cult of the director and the lead actor and his character, and there have already been several sequels and a two-season series.

Terminator started it. Everything is bloodiest, darkest, all blood and nudity everywhere. All the tricks are done on the knee and you can see all the handiwork behind them. Everything is designed to shock the film with a possible future where computers and mechanical machines destroy us.

What's not to fault about the Blu-ray. Well, probably nothing. It's a cult film that has retained all the shape of a Blu-ray. Maybe some grain in the image has been tweaked from time to time, but everything is cheese analogue and you can see the age of 31 years is evident on this film.

The dubbing in the Czech version is the most recent one from 2003. Starring Pavel Soukup. Not that I have anything against Soukup, he's currently Arnold Schwarzenegger's court dubber, but after experiencing the original version, it's obvious that someone else would be a good fit for Terminator. All the fans are calling to heaven for Jiri Zavrel, who dubbed Schwarzenegger for the first time and probably the best.

Sup sup to the shops for the Christmas sales. This Blu-ray is a must-have for any fan if you want to improve your mood from the last installment, which has nothing on the first 1984.
