Alien: Resurrection on Blu-ray – The last Alien episode ends in Paris :-)

That leaves us to review the latest episode of Aliens. With reruns on TV now, one can be reminded of what's to come in the so-far final 4th episode.

In 1997, French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet's first American outing showed the possibility of continuing the story when the main character dies (see Episode 3). The then-skilled and budding screenwriter Joss Whedon wrote a story about how to use cloning to bring Ellen Ripley and her genetic information back to life.

Sure enough, everything changes, not everything goes right, and all the presents born from the genetic information from the main character's clone rebel and kill everything in their vicinity.

It's certain that everything will end and all the important characters survive and all the evil monsters are killed. And maybe they'll make another episode.

When I think about the last Aliens episode, it's not that big a deal. Joss Whedon has written a very entertaining story, with humorous scenes and, of course, robots, aliens and blood. It's clear that the Avengers and Aliens Episode 4 writer has added some common elements to both films.

Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a pretty artistic director, slightly jerky, and he proved before Amelie that he can tame his artistic ambitions to make a good film.

The technical treatment of the film doesn't lag behind the other films in the set. The processing is better than the 3rd installment and so you will enjoy the picture.
