After a long wait, we got our wish. The sequel to one of HBO's best shows got us tonight.
New story, new script and new plotlines. As we probably already know, the creations are rebelling and Dolores is the most important creation for the rebellion.
The first episode of season two gave us a few surprises and finally answered a few unresolved question marks. But as befits a proper continuation of a show that's supposed to be one of HBO's best, let's brace ourselves for a few new questions and new storylines that gradually start to emerge.
This time around, we only had a few lines from the present, just after the last episode of the previous season and after a longer period of time when the Delos campus is starting to be ruled by humans again. In future episodes, we're back in the past with young Bill and his friends. And of course, Dolores and her secret parts of campus life.
I'm not going to be surprised by what the creators have in store for us in the next episodes, but for the moment, in the first episode, they managed to keep their quality bar. Not only by gradually unraveling the mystery of the complicated story, but also by raising new questions that won't be easily answered without fans of the show following every detail in each episode.
