So what do you spend your evening time in front of your TV? Well, an action-packed one-hander. That's the action comedy The Man from Toronto, where chatty Kevin Hart meets earnest Woody Harrelson.
The film is directed by Patrick Hughes, who got his big screen break with the Killer & bodyguard franchise and its sequels. The director is experienced in action and humor, so the film is not boring in either action or humor.
The humorous action is handled by black comedian Kevin Hart, who has become more and more famous in "talky" movies in recent films. The action action is handled by Woody Harrelson, who in turn takes enough good movies to show his action side.
The two parts of the film are perfectly balanced, making The Man From Toronto an easy, entertaining two-hour comedy where you'll enjoy both the talky parts and the action parts.
The story is very simple, a garrulous unhappy husband (Hart) gets mistaken for an action agent when he's clumsy. And so one is entertained, humorous scenes abound and there is plenty of action.
This is a proper comedy for an evening's viewing, there are never enough jokes and never enough action.
