I'm curious to see the contestants who actually make the list of 16 people selected for the main competition. So far, we only know of two who created a dish so perfect that it made it straight into the top 16.
The second part was more introductions. As I've written before, the selection of contestants is chosen on a key (interestingly enough) so that different people get to the main competition, poorer, richer, more skilled, with a heart, etc. and so in the second part we will see a contestant who comes from an Asian country and prepares a dish based on her Czech aunt's recipe. I mean, tomatoes flavored with Asian flavors. Of course, there will be.
So the pizza maker who dares to make a pizza for the main jury will be the first to advance in the competition. And not just any pizza, but one baked in a pizza oven, with its own dough and ingredients. The important thing is that anyone can make pizza, but you can know a really good pizza. If you make your own dough and you know how to combine the different elements of a pizza. Of course, the contestant will also advance.
Let's not forget „dude“ fitness trainer who, in his own words, considers merely frying a tenderloin with asparagus and carrots to be haute cuisine. Of course, when the judges saw this cocky guy, more of a brat, cooking, they immediately threw him off the stove.
The second part was also about getting to know the contestants and non-progressors, some of whom were given plenty of time in the hour-long segment, some just a few seconds.
The third episode will also be the introduction of the contestants and the selection to get to the right number of 16 contestants who will eventually do something on MasterChef.
I'm disappointed that there isn't a big sieve in the first episodes and that the second or third episode is no longer in the celebrity kitchen. People really don't want to see people's stories, they'd rather see the cooking and how the contestants handle a given problem.
The third episode will also be a selection, so I'll definitely write about it and have time to reflect on it and write a short critique.
Hopefully we'll get into the kitchen for some proper cooking soon, once the good chefs have been selected – the bad ones will be separated.
