So what's in store for us in Shaun the Sheep in the movie? Yes, you answered correctly. Shaun the Sheep and her farm friends, little Timmy, their watchdog Bitzer and their faithful protector will keep you entertained for an hour and a half.
If you know the series about the little lamb Shaun, you know you're in for a lot of funny moments and a lot of fun in a short eight minutes. The problem with a 10x longer film, of course, is that there can't be that many jokes per second throughout the entire film. But because the makers of Sheep have good ideas, they've managed to create a simple story that has the overlap of the series.
They've chosen their ideas well from pop culture references, so you'll take the time to recall scenes from other movies as well. Like Silence of the Lambs and other must-see films and TV shows.
The simple story has one advantage. During Shaun the lamb's journey you can have fun, laugh and maybe even be scared. There is plenty of everything in the film and it is appropriately mixed into a good cocktail of all the emotions.
So if you love Shaun the Sheep, definitely go see it. You'll already know the 200 episodes of the show by heart, the film is a pretty good addition to your collection of favourite watched episodes, and you'll of course be humming the theme song on the way out of the cinema.
