Šifra mistra Leonarda (POP ART Steelbook)

What do you put on your home TV in the evening then? Well, maybe a movie that's based on a book. The Da Vinci Code has a new edition, nicely tinned and fit for a collection. This new edition brings an expanded version of the film that many countries have cursed and condemned.

I'm not going to criticize the film's theme that a mysterious sect is hiding from the world and is responsible for everything bad on our planet. This is a fictional story by Dan Brown, who made his name on the themes of conspirators and mysterious sects.

Ron Howard made the first installment back in 2006 with a stellar cast. Starting with ace actor Tom Hanks. He rounded it out with French and English actors Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Jean Reno ... giving this film a stellar sheen.

What feeds this film to keep one from being bored to death are the acting gigs and the gradual discovery of how everything is actually connected and who is behind it and who.

On digital media is an extended version that has a perfect Czech dub with the incomparable Vladímir Dlouhy. He is joined by other famous and established dubbing actors, so one can enjoy the film both in the original version and with the dubbing.

Compared to the theatrical version, the dubbing of the extended version is only supplementary, so the character dubbers have added their dialogue without having to re-record the entire dubbing. The differences in the new scenes aren't noticeable at all, one would probably have to have excellent hearing for their ears to pick it up.

The digital age of film recording didn't exist in 2006, so the transfer from analogue was successful, there's no fault anywhere, one still enjoys the filmmaking grain, both in the historical and nighttime ones, and so on their modern TVs film fans will enjoy the classic movie feel. Of course, there is a quality speaker system to enjoy the dialogue, the action scenes and of course the explosions.

For the handsome price of $499, one can enjoy the entire movie. Admittedly, only the extended version of the film is on the disc in the original or in the Czech version, but the nice box is excellent, what makes the difference when buying. And the price is nice too.
