So is The Spy on Blu-ray. We've already reviewed it, so read the conclusion of the review:
"The story of this action-comedy set in the world of the CIA, starring a buxom actress as a near-Bond agent, had both head and heel, and women like that kind of humour-filled film. Then again, the film is definitely not for men or film critics, the world needs less famous productions with less famous actors. It's just a cool diversion that's worth seeing."
The Blu-ray is of relatively high quality. The picture is perfect, but I'd drag the sound engineer to a darkened bedroom, the sound is unbalanced. Both the English and Czech versions have their downsides. Unbalanced dialogue (center) from the other speakers.
The big mistake from the authoring is that the Czech version is off by about half a second from about the halfway point. And so it degrades the whole film.
There are bonus features on the disc, such as Lost, alternate scenes, a featurette about the film, and more. Of course, there are also unused featurettes and a bit of information about the making of the film.
Unfortunately, the disc has quite a few errors in the authoring, so I would wait to buy the full Blu-ray until the next release or a discount to get the price right when buying the film. I can't put the audio on the web, so at least feast your eyes on the Blu-ray screens.
