5. Blade (Marvel Studios)

Blade, the vampire hunter, returns to movie screens. This time starring Mahershala Ali, winner of two Academy Awards. The film has faced several postponements due to script problems and director changes, but is finally set to begin filming in 2025. The combination of vampire themes and Marvel aesthetics could create a unique atmosphere that would appeal to fans of both horror and comic book adaptations.

6. Avengers. There is no word on director, but fans are speculating the return of the Russo brothers. The film is expected to be a technological i storytelling giant that will be a turning point for the entire Marvel universe.

7. District 10 (Neill Blomkamp)

The sequel to the dystopian sci-fi "District 9" is long-awaited. Director Neill Blomkamp has confirmed that the script for  "District 10" is complete and the film will begin shooting in late 2025. The original film was praised for its socio-political subtext and innovative visual style. Blomkamp promises the second installment will be just as raw and timely.

8. Killers of the Flower Moon - sequel or thematic extension?

Although there are no plans yet for a direct sequel to his last film, there is speculation about another project in collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio, this time set in the American railroad or early 1930s. Scorsese is also interested in a film reflecting on the climate crisis. Whatever the direction, a new film from this master is always an event.

9. Bond 26 - the new James Bond

After Daniel Craig's departure, the world is asking: who will be the next 007? There's still no official announcement, but producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have confirmed that a film is in the works and shooting could begin in 2026. The new Bond will need to reflect the world of today - be relevant, and yet true to the franchise's legacy. There is talk of Idris Elba, Aaron Taylor-Johnson or a completely unknown face. In each case, it will be a brand new beginning for this legendary brand.

10. How Do You Live? (feature-length version for the Western market)

While "How Do You Live?" was Hayao Miyazaki's last film, Studio Ghibli is planning to adapt some of his earlier works for international audiences. These may be extended versions with new dubbing, or even spin-offs. The studio is also preparing new projects with younger filmmakers who could build on Miyazaki's poetic style. So Japanese animation will remain a global phenomenon in the years to come.
