The Simpsons – S28E03: The Town – 75 %

The third episode finally moves away from the side characters and focuses solely on the Simpson family. This time the family goes to the next town over, more like the big city of Boston. It's the creators' intention to keep the episodes from focusing on the Simpsons in Sprigfield, so the new city again distracts a bit from the dullness of their hometown.

Unfortunately, this episode is one of those that isn't in the top episodes, rather slightly below average, as if bit by bit the creators run out of ideas, which they then have to make up for by relocating important characters to a new city. And in it, comparing everything that's different about Sprigfield and Boston.

Boston is just the town for Liza, especially Bart, who has his own ideas about what new things to implement in the new place. Liza, on the other hand, is so happy to do what she enjoys among the youngsters, and her cultural nature is fulfilled.

Homer is a Sprigfielder, rooting for his football team, and by the end of the episode, we learn his team really isn't going to change, so we're back to normal urban Sprigfield grey for another episode.

There are still many episodes to go, but unfortunately the third episode is about average in rating to the previous episodes, and so little fun boring for now.
