Today's episode is again directed by Petr Zelenka. This time we enjoy Barbara Milotova as the wife of the psychologically broken Mark Taclik.
New patients, new stories. That's the motto of the new series. I'm very curious to see what all we actually learn in the story of the car crash participant who is still acting like a little kid a year later, and his wife (including her entourage) are on pills.
Of course, we already know from Karl Roden what each episode will do, looking at what patients have come to him. A pop singer in crisis, a steward who doesn't know his way around his gay boss and now a wife who has a psychological wreck for a husband, who may even be acting out her damage to get some peace from all the people around her.
Peter Zelenka is a skilled director, and he's good at differentiating all his characters in the various psychological stories. Even Karel Roden is a little different each time we meet him, he has the same demeanour when listening to his cases, but the subtle differentiation, as the director wishes, is evident.
I'm very curious to see what tomorrow's story of Hedwig and Zuzana (Jenovéfa Boková and Ivana Chýlková) will be. Unfortunately, there will be no "climax" with Mark's colleague on Friday, so all week we will follow the cases of the 4 main patients and occasionally we will learn some trivia about Mark, who has a girlfriend and one son.
