Westworld – Chestnut (S01E02) – 90%

That's how HBO gets going. It's already got a second series that will be remembered for a long time. The question is whether the series will be longer than one season, hopefully.

The second episode of Westworld has already brought more bits and pieces of the robot factory, slow bits of something bigger, to give people who watch the show on TV a look under the hood of the factory. How they program, create and reset the rides in the big park.

The park, of course, is where the day-to-day stories of the individual robots play out, from the individual gunslingers, the prostitutes and the most famous robot, Dolores.

A little computer virus is slowly sprouting inside each robot, which certainly messes with the story a lot in the final episodes of this series. For now though, we haven't seen any human deaths, unfortunately the only ones that die are the robots, which can be reset and repaired.

We're happy to see the show's 3rd actor, James Marsden, playing the "popular" robot gunslinger, who gets killed at least twice in every episode. This time, he hasn't met his favorite Dolores, who is currently getting a little closer to uncovering the truth each episode.

The mysterious Man in Black (Ed Harris) is also pursuing the truth, as he once again kills dozens of western robots to get to the next piece of the puzzle he's entrusted with.

This second installment is a slightly weaker episode in the western theme park complex, but it absolutely holds its level.
